Weekly groups
Our baby and toddler groups typically run at a variety of locations around Glasgow’s Southside. They’re completely inclusive and free for everyone. We are currently running groups and sessions remotely due to COVID-19. This may change subject to government guidelines.
Our baby and toddler groups are designed to give parents the opportunity to enjoy time with their children in an environment free of everyday stresses and ensure family time gets the space it deserves.

Our original English Group on Mondays here in the Burgh Hall has proved so popular over the years that we’ve decided to add another. Beginning in Autumn 2017, we’ll be running a new group in Pollokshields Primary School on Tuesday Mornings.
The groups are facilitated by Charlene, with help from our English Tutor Volunteers, and is designed to help parents whose first language is not English learn the basic language skills to enable them to confidently and effectively communicate and integrate with their local communities.
A crèche facility is provided at both groups so parents can learn while their children play and socialise with other children, and we’re thoroughly looking forward to taking what we’ve learned from our original English Group to a new audience!
For more information and to ask about availability please contact Charlene on 0141 570 8735.
Our Tuesday Toddle In Group has proven to be extremely popular since its inception, and still has a waiting list for new attendees. Thanks to this constant demand from local parents we’re very happy to say we’ve been able to add a second Toddle In Group to our schedule!
Also based within Castlemilk Parish Church on Dougrie Road, this second group on Wednesdays will offer extra capacity for those parents who have been unable to attend Tuesday’s group, and additional space to accommodate new families. Toddle In offers an opportunity for parents to get together while their children have fun with other children through play and different activities each week.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided for parents, with snacks available for children.

Creative Play draws on all our years of experience running different styles of family groups and squeezes the best bits into an intensive 8 week course which has been designed to stimulate children’s creative juices and encourage parents and children to work, play and generally enjoy spending time together.
Creative Play has visited all corners of the Southside over the last year, and since we’ve increased our staff numbers, we’re now able to run twice as many!
