Home-Start would not be able to function without the valuable support of its volunteers. The only qualification needed to be a Home-Start volunteer is parenting experience. Anything else will be provided by the preparation course.

Volunteers should be able to give 2 hours a week for home visiting, plus 1 hour a month for supervision and be prepared to do this for at least 1 year.
